• The British wildlife watchers I tour around BC in May and September love Zeballos, Cedars Inn and the sea otters tours.

  After the "exciting" drive down from the highway Cristina and Dan's hospitality makes it feel as if you've come home. The views from the hotel deck are spectacular, with a well-deserved glass of wine or beer in hand, and the food at the hotel is delicious.

  And then there's the wildlife. The sea otters never fail to put on a show that steals everyone's heart, while the almost-as-reliable humpback whales, black bears, Dahl's porpoises and sea birds compete for your attention. Zeballos is a highlight of every tour.

• We travelled on the Uchuck lll Thursday, June 18 - Saturday, June 20. We thoroughly enjoyed our journey.

  The hospitality at Kyuquot was great, the accommodation was perfect for our group (3 couples in a 3-bedroom cabin) and our dinner was delicious.

  Our stay at Zebellos was wonderful, everyone was so very welcoming. We want to compliment the staff at Cedars Inn for the outstanding meals prepared to order - for 29 guests! The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable.

  The crew on the boat was friendly, interacting with passengers, answering endless questions and keeping us informed along the way. The cook/steward was great - going the extra "mile" to see that we all enjoyed our time on board. The whole crew was terrific. Thank-you.

  We look forward to another excursion someday.
